Call Forwarding Options...
» CALL FORWARDING ALL CALLS: Lets you transfer all your incoming calls to any telephone you can dial direct without Operator assistance.
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1172 and wait for dial tone. On a touch-tone phone, press *72, then wait for dial tone.
- Dial the number that will be accepting your calls. The dialed number will ring. Call Forwarding is activated when someone answers.
- If the line is busy or no one answers, hang up and repeat the first two steps. No answer is required to establish Call Forwarding on the second attempt.
HOW TO CANCEL IT:
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1173. On a touch-tone phone, press *73.
- Listen for a special dial tone.
NOTE: While your calls are being forwarded, your telephone will ring briefly each time your number is dialed. You cannot answer the calls, but the ring serves as a reminder that Call Forwarding is still active.
» CALL FORWARD BUSY: Transfers an incoming call only when your line is busy.
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1190 and wait for dial tone. On a touch-tone phone, press *90, then wait for dial tone.
- Dial the number that will be accepting your calls. The dialed number will ring. Call Forward Busy is activated when someone answers.
- If the line is busy or no one answers, hang up and repeat the first two steps. You will hear a special dial tone signaling you that Call Forward Busy is active.
HOW TO CANCEL IT:
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1191. On a touch-tone phone, press *91.
- Listen for a special dial tone.
» CALL FORWARD NO ANSWER: Transfers an incoming call after a designated number of rings.
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1192 and wait for dial tone. On a touch-tone phone, press *92, then wait for dial tone.
- LaPointe & Hayward exchanges only—Enter the number of rings you want allowed before the call is forwarded (2-9) immediately followed by the number you want your calls forwarded to. All other exchanges—Dial the number that will be accepting your calls.
- The dialed number will ring. Call Forward No Answer is activated when someone answers.
- If the line is busy or no one answers, hang up and repeat the first two steps. You will hear a special dial tone signaling you that Call Forward No Answer is active.
HOW TO CANCEL IT:
- From a rotary dial phone, dial 1193. On a touch-tone phone, press *93.
- Listen for a special dial tone.
» CALL FORWARD REMOTE ACCESS: Enables you to activate Call Forwarding from a location other than your own telephone.
LaPointe and Hayward exchanges
- Dial the dedicated access number provided by the telephone company.
- Listen for the line to ring, then wait for special dial tone.
- Dial your seven-digit phone number with the Call Forward feature, immediately followed by your PIN given to you by the phone company.
- Wait for special dial tone, then activate Call Forwarding using the usual instructions listed in the above paragraphs.
NOTE: Call Forward Remote Access in these exchanges activates all forms of Call Forwarding listed above.
All other exchanges
- Dial the dedicated access number provided by the telephone company.
- Listen for the line to ring, then wait for special instructions.
- Carefully follow the voice prompts to activate (*72) or deactivate (*73) Call Forwarding.
NOTE: Call Forward Remote Access in these exchanges only activates Call
Forwarding All Calls.
» SELECTIVE CALL FORWARDING: When this service is activated, those callers in the list will be forwarded to your "Forward-to" number. All others will ring through to your phone.
WARM LINE/HOT LINE: Automatically dials a preset number* if the phone is off the hook for a preset amount of time (1-30 seconds).
- Remove the handset from the cradle and wait without dialing.
- The preset number will be dialed for you.
HOW TO PREVENT IT:

Dial a number before preset time elapses.
*TO CHANGE THE PRESET NUMBER you must contact the telephone company.
» REMOTE CALL FORWARDING: Incoming calls are forwarded to your preselected, permanent destination number. Allows you to keep an established number while forwarding calls to another location. You do not have access to this feature. Programming must be done at the telephone company office.
