Maintain E-911 service.
E-Talk offers E-911 services to protect you in the case of an emergency. However, there are several differences in the way these alternative services work in comparison to traditional wireline phone service. Please refer to the chart below for more information.

 * When you sign up for E-Talk service, you will provide a service location. This is the location that emergency personnel will respond to in the event you dial 911 using Cheqtel’s E-Talk service. It is your responsibility to ensure that the service location is accurate and kept up-to-date. You may update the service location using the Customer Self Care Website or by calling your E-Talk service provider. Records may not be updated immediately; it may take some time to update your records with the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) or other local/regional emergency service personnel.
