Cheqtel provides education institutions and government entities a significant discount on annual service packages over the cost of the Business Level pricing. All education and government pricing requires a P.O. on letterhead, and with the exception of the No Contract Month-to-Month pricing, all other packages require an agreement to be signed.

What Are the Different Mailbox Types?
  • Basic Mailbox - Outlook Web Access (OWA), POP3 and IMAP only. Personal calendars, contacts and to-do lists. Access to the Global Address List (GAL) and distribution lists.
  • Standard Mailbox - All the features of the Basic Mailbox plus all the shared features of Outlook and the ability to add on mobile access.
  • Standard Plus - All the features of the Standard Mailbox plus Outlook.

All education mailboxes start out with 200M mailbox quotas. Additional storage space is available and listed below.

BASIC Email Archiving: $1.00/mo/per mailbox (all mailboxes must be activated)

Compliant Email Archiving: $5.95/mo on Selected Mailboxes. BASIC Email Archiving must also be activated.

*Outlook 2003 and 2007 support RPC over HTTP so a VPN connection is not required however if Entourage for Macintosh is used a VPN will be required.  Customer must supply appropriate hardware on their site to support VPN connections.

Spam Blocking Service
For customers who host their own email and have their own domain (such as many schools) and just need spam blocking service, Cheqtel offers Postini Spam and Virus blocking.
