Summer Recipe:
Easy Cheese Ball
This cheese ball is a great appetizer for your summer cookouts.
2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons chopped green onion
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
Dash of hot sauce
Dash of salt
4 slices bacon
Allow cream cheese to reach room temperature and soften. Combine
cream cheese and cheddar cheese and blend in food processor
until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the bacon,
and mix well. Cook the bacon until crisp and dry on paper towels.
Crumble the bacon into small bits and spread on a plate. Form
the cheese mixture into a ball or log and then roll in the bacon
bits. Cover and refrigerate. Serve with crackers.
