There has been a lot of discussion in the news lately about the privacy of people's telephone records and other personal data. It has come to light that some records have been turned over by phone companies even though they were never presented with a warrant. I want to assure Chequamegon Communications members that we have a strict policy that under the current situation we will not turn any of our calling or Internet records over to any agency without a warrant. That is our pledge to you. We understand the importance of your privacy and we will not share any of our customer data unless we are given a compelling reason to do so.
