Our Deepest
Sympathy
Central Office Supervisor Randy Engelman passed away this September
27th after a battle with Crutzfeldt-Jakob's Disease, for which
there is no cure. Our deepest sympathies are with his family;
he will be greatly missed. Below is an excerpt from a tribute
to Randy written by a fellow Chequamegon Communications employee.
“WHAT’S THE GOOD WORD FOR TODAY?” or “HOW
GOES THE BATTLE TODAY?”
Oh how the employees at Chequamegon will miss hearing Randy
speak these words each morning. On August 18th of this year Randy
celebrated 30 years of employment at Chequamegon Communications.
During that time he became a loyal friend and mentor to all of
his co-workers whether they knew him from that first day in August
1975 or just started working at Chequamegon. His devotion to
his job goes without saying. He saw Chequamegon go through many
changes in his 30 years and his knowledge and attention to detail
helped make us the cooperative we are today. |
