Northwood School District Gets a Super Upgrade
Over the summer, CheqTel installed a brand new computer and
server system in the Northwood School District and became the
charter member of CheqTel's innovative Unified Education Network.
"Before, we had so many different kinds of machines...there was
no continuity," says Audrey Visger, administrative assistant.
Now, every computer and printer is brand new and the same brand.
"Everything's working better and faster," Visger says. "We're
super-happy. The support and the people at CheqTel have been
wonderful." CheqTel opened a Northwood helpline so that teachers
and staff can contact CheqTel directly if they have any questions.
Northwood students are benefiting from a vastly improved computer
lab where there is no longer frustration over slow machines,
unreliable Internet connections or erratic printers. And that's
just the beginning: soon students will be able to take online
classes in order to get advanced credit toward college or to
make up past work. "[The new system] brings our students and
staff into state-of-the-art computer availability for teaching
and learning," says Don Anderson, District Administrator. "We
appreciate and thank CheqTel and its employees for their professionalism
and work ethic."
