Keeping a Military
Family Connected
With his oldest son Danny Lee Jr. in the military and his youngest
son, Bradley, on his way to serve next July, communication is
a vital lifeline to Dan Bourassa. That's why Dan has chosen unlimited
long distance from CheqTel. He's able to give out his family's
tollfree number and make calls to friends and family— from
New Hampshire to North Carolina, Canada to Alabama—knowing
that it's all included. "I think it's a great thing," he says.
And having high speed Internet access at home really enhances
the possibilities. Bradley, a high school senior who will be
joining the 101st Airborne next year, has been able to take online
classes that count toward promotion credits—allowing him
to get a head start before he even hits boot camp.
As owner of Iron River Building Supply, Dan—who was a
paratrooper himself—relies on his Internet and phone service
to keep his business running smoothly, too. More than that, he
says: "Chequamegon is a great company—and a growing
company. Some rural areas don't have the personnel we have here,
so we're very fortunate."
